The two co-founders, both PhD engineers in the field of electronics and telecommunications, met in a laboratory. Their research in telecommunications gives them the idea to develop Machine Learning solutions to facilitate the communication of aerospace and defense systems.

Arkane surrounds itself with local actors of innovation and entrepreneurship. Based in Brest, the team is then supported by ENSTA’s incubator (ENStartup), the Technopole Brest-Iroise, the Brittany Region or even the BPI.

In June 2020, Arkane is selected for the CNES R&D challenge: «Launcher of the future». The jury is convinced by the interest of the proposed solution: rocket monitoring through the implementation of a wireless sensor network with intelligent communication protocols

Promising start-up, Arkane is accompanied by the Village by Crédit Agricole de Brest. This support reaches a key stage after the project has matured technically. The Village teams offer business-oriented coaching to the start-up, including contacts with industrialists and financiers, and targeted communication to gain visibility.
