In December 2020, Arkane had the honor of joining the prestigious program of the European Space Agency – ESA BIC Nord France. This two-year support has been crucial, bringing us increased visibility and valuable maturity in the space sector. [See ESA page]
In June 2020, Arkane won its first counter during the R&D challenge “Launcher of the future” proposed by CNES. The jury was convinced by the interest of the solution proposed by the start-up (monitoring of rockets by setting up a wireless sensor network with intelligent communication protocols). Since then, CNES has continued to support and rely on Arkane through the contracting of a dozen projects. [See the CNES page]
Arkane has joined the 2nd cohort of the BLAST program, dedicated to aeronautics, space and defense technologies (ASD). This incubator is supported by the Starburst accelerator, ONERA, Ecole Polytechnique and SATT Paris-Saclay to promote technological development and the development of the company’s business model. With the support of STARBURST, the Arkane team notably participated for the first time at the Paris Air show in 2023 to present its solutions to Newspace and ASD stakeholders. Arkane is a member of the Breton network IRISPACE dedicated to space research and innovation. This network is managed by IMT Atlantique in conjunction with the CNES and connects the different actors of the Breton spatial network. IRISPACE facilitates collaborations with the academic and industrial fabric of Brittany, playing a facilitator role for research and experimentation of our solutions. [See the IRISPACE page]
The ENSTArtup, incubator of ENSTA Bretagne, has accompanied our company since our creation in 2020. The ENSTARTUP teams supported the launch and success of our project with their numerous advices, their connections with local actors and access to our first premises. [See the ENSTArtup page]
The BPI has greatly supported Arkane by offering various financings, including grants and repayable advances, thus promoting our ability to innovate. Thanks to an attentive and committed regional manager, we benefit from daily support to meet our financing needs since our creation. [See the BPI France page]
Thanks to its active support and encouragement of collaborative work between local stakeholders, the Brittany Region is boosting the entire Breton ecosystem. Our company had the chance to benefit from the valuable expertise of the incubator Emergys Bretagne, thus strengthening the credibility of our solution. Crédit Agricole has developed a network of Villages throughout France to support and advise young innovative companies in their development. Arkane joined the Village By CA Finistère-Brest in 2021 and has since been supported on financial aspects, communication and networking with industrialists in the region.
The Pôle Mer has offered Arkane great opportunities by connecting us with leaders in the aerospace and defense industry. Thanks to this network, we were able to participate in large-scale local events and benefit from valuable support for the certification of our projects.
